Valley Studio only curates quality. Every hand crafted drape undergoes a rigorous design process, where we closely hang each individual drape in our workroom to ensure the hems and details fall to the floor flawlessly, guaranteed. With our years of refined expertise, we can personalize the trim and style until every detail meets the reality of your vision. Delicate and soft. Elegant and small. Everything about Valley’s café curtains evokes the handmade and tailored. Each pleat and ring are hand sewn together offering the highest end look for curtains most often hung at eye level.
A Ripplefold drape is made of a single continuous panel produced with snaps sewn into the top hem. The ‘pleat’ in this drape actually comes from the way the snaps connect the fabric with the hardware, which creates an undulating wave pattern across the design.
Valley’s version of the traditional french pleat with a unique contemporary twist, the three special is formed by tacking the three folds at the top of the pleat.
Grommet top curtains feature metal open rings punched into the fabric at the top of the panels, allowing the drapes to slide along the rod with ease. Their easy operation makes these curtains the perfect fit choice for draperies you want to open and close regularly.
Goblet pleat drapes are a detailed heading style, similar in look to pinch pleat curtains. Tucked and folded, goblet pleats are open at the very top to give a ‘goblet’ or ‘wineglass’ look. They can be hung from a track or a pole.
A traditional drapery look with 2 folds in the pinch pleat. Similar to the two special pleat drapery but with the pinch 3" below the top of the drape. This creates a pretty and small flair at the top of the pleat.

Similar to a flat roman shade in appearance. No folds are visible from the front. The bottom hem shows some fullness, offering an almost feminine softness.
A traditional and extravagant style. There is much fullness both at the top and bottom of the shade. Even when this shade is closed the opulent fullness is clearly evident.
Hard product shades provide great flexibility and ease of use. Hunter Douglas has been a leader in hard product shades for decades and we are proud to be one of their partners as well as many other shade manufacturers. Where it is a top down bottom up shade or a dual shade for both blackout and privacy filtered, there is always a hard product solution.
Woven shades provide both natural light and privacy. There are various shades to choose from: Conrad woven shades add beautiful craftsmanship and warmth to your space, and are all custom made to fit any window. Chik blinds are a style of elegant, hand woven Indian blinds. Custom matchsticks are unique and beautiful in any color to fit your aesthetic. We partner with any and all woven fabric providers such as Hartmann & Forbes and Windochine.
Roller shades are made to fit any space and provide a clean look with comfort and function. Select from: Lutron, an industry leader in both shade design and in-home automation/motorization; Somfy, who has revolutionized the industry with their new rechargeable battery motors and seamless integration that are available in most home automation systems; or Coulisse, a beautifully design-forward Dutch brand suitable for any budget. Our selection of hundreds of fabrics and bracket colors will add a level of sophistication to whatever style our clients are looking for.
A flat roman that comes off the back of the headrail in order for the shade to fall closer to the wall. We then put a tailored valance in front of the mechanism. This style is most often used when blackout is needed.
Valley Studio has been crafting custom furniture for over 20 years now. At Valley Studio, we manufacture custom furniture made to order with a selection of in-house designs as well. Our tables, chairs, and cabinetry are constructed by skilled craftsmen in our Los Angeles factory and fashioned out of the highest quality wood varieties, such as walnut, oak, cherry, and other exotic wood species. We can provide technical drawings and renderings so that your vision is created exactly as you want it!
At Valley Studio, we manufacture custom wooden cabinetry in a variety of styles and for manifold purposes. Whether you need a boudoir or vanity, a storage cabinet or console, we’ll build you the perfect piece to fit your desire from a fine selection of raw wood materials. We also have mastered the art of custom hinges and metal finishes to make your cabinet singular and beautiful.
Valley Studio manufactures custom wooden tables within a wide variety of design categories, and can skillfully accommodate glass and metal table accents as well. Over the last 30 years we have mastered the craft of any table large or small, from dining tables to side tables. Our carpenters can highlight any kind of joinery one would desire. A Valley Studio table is a piece to keep in the house forever.
Valley Studio specializes in manufacturing custom wooden chairs for any situation, dining chairs, side chairs and entry chairs included, and our skilled craftsmen will happily add glass and metal accents to the chair you need to fit a variety of styles and tastes. In addition to working with the finest wood materials, we also manufacture our custom chairs from wicker and rattan.
